Dig it!

House Plant Swap at The Barn Nursery

Hey, there! It's been a hot minute since we posted!! What happened to us in 2019!?! It seems we fell into that trap of busy season and didn't have time to get back to blogging until we had our winter season all wrapped up.

But we're back in 2020 and have SO MUCH to share with you. It's going to be a great year for gardening, landscape design and lots more at The Barn this year.

But first, this....We're having another Plant Swap and want you to join us!

House Plant Swap (3)

We hosted our first House Plant Swap this past November and it was a ton of fun and a huge success. Over 70 plant lovers attended and most had WAY MORE than just a couple plants to swap. A good time was had by all, we raffled off two amazing, unique house plants and every recipient left with new plants, including a free mini-succulent from us.

So, we're doing it again!

If you've never heard of a plant swap, it is basically a casual get together where people bring in small, propagated house plants and trade them with others. You can also bring plants you've outgrown, or mature plants that maybe you don't have room for anymore. We are looking for some unusual varieties so mix it up! However, there are always those of us ready to take home more of the basic varieties so please don't hesitate to join us if you are new to collecting house plants. You can even come if you don't have any!

You can learn more about Plant Swaps by watching this YouTube video by Summer Raines, a popular houseplant guru.

Please join us this February for our next plant swap, which we hope will be even BIGGER and BETTER. Stop propagating baby plants now to prepare. OR visit us with your houseplants and we will propagate them for you.

Once again, we are asking you to RSVP for this free event so we can accurately prepare for all of you. You can register via this link on Event Brite.

Happy New Year!! Remember our garden center is open year round. In January, our hours are Monday - Saturday 9am-4pm. Stop in for indoor gardening information, house plants and our final clearance on home and garden decor.
